Now you will laugh. It's being awhile since i logged here. You could have read it in my previous journal, i didn't feel so well about publishing here and frankly i was a bit low in myself about it. However, logged on today and saw my inbox filled with fav notifications, lot of comments, almost 4000 pageviews. Dear God, whats going on?!! And i started, politely, replying comment by comment, thank fav by fav feeling bad for i wouldn't be able to read all the messages since the new ones "pushed" the older (and i don't erase messages nor notifications, like to have 'em). Suddenly, reading the comments i realized that people talk about some DD....my photo, Affection I, to be a DD? Gosh..seems that i was the last one that realized what happened.
So, now i finally understand why so many pageviews and comments, dear friends and visitors i want to thank you all for your time to watch my work, think of it, and put your comment. Want to thank the gallery director that selected my photo among soooo many excellent works. It means alot to me. For art is sublimated part of me, photos do not present what is in front of the camera, but the state of mind of the person behind it, and in this way i transfer it and we communicate. Thank you for all your interpretations. You see, it wasn't the vegan concept that i had in mind creating it. Maybe Matt (veaudaux) was closest to describe the creative process citing R. Magritte. To help you understand, as in meditation, one do not "see" the true reality before transcending his own mind. I know that as soon as i "think" during meditation attempt, there's no meditation. Turnng off the awareness about the body, then awareness of the mind, brings one into the world of intuition where the true reality is pervaded. Or to bring another example, i.e. in martial arts - as soon as i need to think what will oponent do and what should i do to him, i know i need to train more. Only after alot of hard training, when after sudden bliss, the action takes place automatically, and you find the oponent defeated even without knowing consciousnesly what you did to him - your "body" and intuition took control - one becomes the true master. It's the same when i undergo the creative process. I do not set the topic and try to tell the story about it. That would be kind of realism. Most of times i let the "voice" from the inside lead me. Has much to do with archetypes in ones subconsciousness. It takes time sometimes to concentrate to be able to "hear" it, to overcome the mind and inhereted concepts or "contamination by knowledge", but when i manage, i can create some thing i will be pleased with. Hopefully it will touch you too, this way or another.
